Mordt Engineering, situated in Jet Park on the East Rand, are specialists in customized stainless steel and mild steel fabrication. The company was established in 1980 based on core business principles. The balustrading division emerged in the late 1990’s building on the solid foundation and expertise that existed within the firm.

 

Fabrication Division

Mordt Engineering has been operating for nearly 30 years in the food processing, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical and poultry industries to name a few.

The large, modern factory has the capacity to supply top quality sheet metal work in mild steel and stainless steel for jobbing of any nature. The fabrication arm of the company has a dedicated team that is trained in manufacturing and installing mild steel and stainless steel structures.

Balustrading Division

The balustrading/handrailing division prides itself on manufacturing high quality custom design stainless steel and frameless glass balustrades/handrails for the residential and domestic markets both locally and abroad. We use the highest quality grade 304 stainless steel material and components.  Marine grade 316 stainless steel is used for coastal applications. We offer a 20 year guarantee on the stainless steel balustrades that we install.
